Careers

Today we have been deciding on what careers/job we will do when we leave school. We went into a site that has different photos of jobs, it also tells what this job do and what it is. Below the pictures there 4 different option that you can choose and they are, Not interested, Neutral, Fairly Interested and very interested. There are 78 Questions. I got 46 jobs based on my answers and the job that I liked is architect.An Architect, design and advise on the construction and alteration of buildings. They also arrange building contracts.

Kiwi Can - Reflection

This term for kiwi can we had a new theme and a topic and they are resilient and goal setting. For our energizer we played a game called horse and donkey. If Miss Lilly says horse you have to walk, if Miss Lilly says Jonkey you will have to speed walk. The Last person to go to there partners is out. After our energizer we discussed about what do you want to be when you grew up? Mr Matt will say how could your reach that goal that you want to be. We then played another game. This game is about you splitting into groups and come up on how many money do you think you will get and our team came up with 750. There are three cones, one of them are worth 50, 100, and 150. The first team that reaches there number of choice will win.

algorithms

Today Aaung Naing and I worked collaboratively to complete this DLO. This DLO shows you we solve algorithms questions and explaining it. This is a strategy helps us solve bigger numbers and by the help of HTO stands for thunderer, tens and ones. 

Virtual Reality

Today Tai, Jeremiah and I have explored google expeditions VR and three of us had the experiences of using the VR. Virtual realty is a gadget that lets you look around and make you feel that you are in that place. There's an arrow that lets you go on different places. Tai, Jeremiah and I learnt different types of bridge. This activity links to our inquiry because we were leaning about bridges. It was a very cool to.

Facts About Vikings

Today for reading our group read about Vikings. The book talks about what Vikings do when they raid and what they do to the goods and the people. I enjoyed reading this book with my group. After reading the booking with our group and then we did word link. Word link is about a person telling a topic and the next person will relate to the link that person said. We then created a DLO about 5 facts about vikings and I included a photo that shows where they came from. The fact that I found interesting is - Vikings believed that when they die they will go to a place called ' Valhalla'.
