Matariki - Reflection
Today was the Matariki day, people in our school watched other groups performing pacifica, druming, Kapa haka, and Ukulele. After watching all the performances we had free sausages for all the people in our school .The performances was really good to watch because they were confident and not shy to perform. Thank you Ms Whea Odie for giving us the free sausages and I enjoyed the performances too.

Matariki Poster
Today for Matariki Day, we collaborate with LS1. We watched a video about Matriki, we then timed our group 3 minutes to write all the facts that we remembered about the Matariki and we made a google drawing about the Matariki talking about the fact that we learnt and the seven stars of Matariki. We used our smart searching skills to search up the seven starts of Matariki. The seven stars are - Matariki,Waita, Waiti, Uru-a-rangi, Tupu-a-rangi,Tupu-a-nuku and Waipuna-a-rangi. We enjoyed collaborating with LS1

The seven sisters
Today my partner Tai and I have made a DLO about the seven sisters. Then we had to answer each question about the six sisters. The six sisters and their mother were sent to the sky to be the seven stars of Matariki.
