Today for reading our task is to make an advertisement for local Gyms. We read a story about Gym, the story is about ]Josh don't like playing sport. One day Tim saw Josh at a Gym, but there something interesting happen Josh workout because he want to Impress a girl. I work hard to make this advertisement I also use my smart searching skill to find out some information about City Fitness.

Career - Architect
Today our tasks was to create a DLO to talk about you career. I have chosen Architect for my career I have chosen this career because I enjoy designing house, Drawing and maths. This DLO shows you the Maori name of the architect. There are 5 questions written on the board and the questions are -\
Careers
Today we have been deciding on what careers/job we will do when we leave school. We went into a site that has different photos of jobs, it also tells what this job do and what it is. Below the pictures there 4 different option that you can choose and they are, Not interested, Neutral, Fairly Interested and very interested. There are 78 Questions. I got 46 jobs based on my answers and the job that I liked is architect.An Architect, design and advise on the construction and alteration of buildings. They also arrange building contracts.

Virtual Reality
Today Tai, Jeremiah and I have explored google expeditions VR and three of us had the experiences of using the VR. Virtual realty is a gadget that lets you look around and make you feel that you are in that place. There's an arrow that lets you go on different places. Facts About Vikings
Today for reading our group read about Vikings. The book talks about what Vikings do when they raid and what they do to the goods and the people. I enjoyed reading this book with my group. After reading the booking with our group and then we did word link. Word link is about a person telling a topic and the next person will relate to the link that person said. We then created a DLO about 5 facts about vikings and I included a photo that shows where they came from. The fact that I found interesting is - Vikings believed that when they die they will go to a place called ' Valhalla'.

Who Wants To Be a Mathionaire?
Today for math challenges we played a game called Who Wants To Be a Mathionaire. This game is about a you answering your times table, there is a board of money at the side. Each answer you get right you will climb up to $1,000,000. If you get all of the questions right you will have $1,000,000. If you get one answer wrong will need to to start over again. Pro's And Con's
Toady we made a DLO comparing Pro's and Co's about living in a light house. Today for Inquiry we wrote some Pro's and Con's about living in a Lighthouse. Living in a light house is hard because your are lonely and limited fresh water. Pro's means good, it is good because is peaceful, quiet and good view.

Tech reflection
Today for tech we made Meat Pie, cooking this dish is easy because you can read the ingredients on the board. John and I made sure that we measured the ingredients correctly. The hardest part was making sure that the onion doesn't burn. We got the right texture, and taste for our pie and we were happy with it. We had fun cooking Meat Pie. The ingredients are -
Step 1-Dice the onion, ham and mince
Step 2-fry the onion first, and than ham, mince
Step 3-Add the sauce, soya sauce and corflour, mix herbs
Step 4- Place the pastry in the round baking tin foil
Step 5- Pour all you meat in and bake 180 c for 20 mins

Today we were creating a DLO about Chicago sports team. Our group worked collaboratively and communicated to complete this DLO. We used our smart searching skills to find some interesting facts about the Chicago sports team. There are different types of teams that we looked up and try to find some facts. I learnt a lot from this activity and enjoyed it.

Matariki - Reflection
Today was the Matariki day, people in our school watched other groups performing pacifica, druming, Kapa haka, and Ukulele. After watching all the performances we had free sausages for all the people in our school .The performances was really good to watch because they were confident and not shy to perform. Thank you Ms Whea Odie for giving us the free sausages and I enjoyed the performances too.

Today for Matariki Day, we collaborate with LS1. We watched a video about Matriki, we then timed our group 3 minutes to write all the facts that we remembered about the Matariki and we made a google drawing about the Matariki talking about the fact that we learnt and the seven stars of Matariki. We used our smart searching skills to search up the seven starts of Matariki. The seven stars are - Matariki,Waita, Waiti, Uru-a-rangi, Tupu-a-rangi,Tupu-a-nuku and Waipuna-a-rangi.
